Event Manager Job Description

UnLtd is the social purpose organisation for the media, marketing and creative industry. As we grow, we are looking for an Event Manager to join our events team. Our events portfolio spans sporting events such as cricket, sailing and surfing through to thought leadership talks and gala dinners. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and sponsors
• Manage events from planning through to delivery
• Manage the finance of events including budgeting and cost saving, invoicing and reporting
• Work independently and as part of the events team, reporting into the Head of Events
• Client and industry liaison at a senior level
• Identify and package sponsorship opportunities and create pitch decks and post event evaluation documents

Experience required:

• At least 3-5 years professional experience
• Experience orgnaising and managing events
• Experience in the media industry is desirable but not essential
• A full clean Australian driving licence is desirable but not essential

• Team player who can work independently
• Good fun and enjoy a laugh
• Ability to get shit done
