Industry gets behind #MMAD4U day

UnLtd’s foundation charity partner, Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD), and Universal Music Australia (UMA) have today launched a nationwide campaign designed to inspire young people to never give up hope.

#MMAD4U asks people to use the hasthag and post an image of themselves via social media, to anyone they know who is feeling down or lost, and needs to know that someone is out there that is ‘mad for them’.

An UnLtd-funded video has seen the creation of a unique approach to legal education for young people in remote indigenous communities.

A group of teenagers, from the top end to the desert, wrote and performed the song “know your rights” which has an important message about respect, and promoting healthy interactions between youth and the law.

$40,000 raised for KidsXpress in the 4th UnLtd Cup

The UnLtd Cup final saw Fairfax lift the coveted UnLtd Cup trophy for a second year in a row with a 7-1 win over GSA yesterday.

With each team donating their time and a registration fee of $2,500, the cost of putting a child through the KidsXpress program, the industry raised $40,000 and enabled 16 children to participate in the KidsXpress world first, expressive therapy program – helping to undo the damage caused through trauma, family loss and domestic violence.
